Job Description:
POSITION Recruiter - Truck Driving Schools JOB SUMMARY Contacts, screens, and evaluates potential driver candidates to develop and increase the driving fleet of the company.
80% Travel required Education, Skills and Experience College degree preferred.
Minimum of 1-year experience in the transportation industry, preferably as a recruiter Experience recruiting at trucking schools preferred Possess basic interview skills such as listening, analyzing data, and follow-up questions.
Good attention to detail, and ability to create and maintain a schedule.
Decisive and confident in judgment, must be able to make hiring decisions.
Persuasive ability to influence individuals to apply for & accept job.
Be a self-starter, and work well independently with limited supervision.
Strong ability to overcome objections and close the sale.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
